Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash-Morgan, actor who has been a part of the SSC's board of directors since 2011, is the Founding co-artistic director of the recently formed theater firm Speech of Fire. She was the Artistic Director of Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 through the year 2019. As the artistic director of SSC she served as the company's composer, musician and text coach as well as costume/set/music designer. In her final year she worked as a director and lighting designer in SSC's production of King Lear. She had been directing from the ensemble, however in last year made her directorial debut.
